ABOUT

We're a group of women who love to exercise together! Started as a meetup for women following Kayla Itsines' BBG in DC, we have expanded to be a DC SWEAT meetup group.

 

We follow Kayla Itsines' BBG, Kelsey Wells' PWR, Chontel Duncan's FIERCE, Stephanie Sanzo's BUILD, and Sjana Earp's BAM. Once a month, we do a workout inspired by the SWEAT app programs.

 

We meet once a month to work out and meet new friends. ​ Meetups are open to all ability levels. Join us whether you've been following the SWEAT workouts for a while, or just want a good Saturday morning sweat! It's free and you'll get some great goodies from our sponsors!

What should I expect at the meetup?

THE WORKOUT

All meetups are bodyweight workouts and will have a combination of strength and plyometrics.  We incorporate exercises from three programs: BBG, PWR at Home, and FIERCE.  You do not need to have done any of these programs in the past--we will provide you with the exercises and demonstrate them before starting.  There are always modifications available for you, and the exercises are meant for all levels of fitness.  Follow us on Instagram for a sneak peek of the exercises leading up to the event.

What is SWEAT?

The SWEAT app features workout programs led by different female trainers. SWEAT offers yoga, post-pregnancy workouts, weight training, powertraining and high-intensity workouts.
